LSW partner Dan Gitner served as a judge at the Office of the Appellate Defender’s annual mock Supreme Court oral argument, “First Monday in October.”  The panel heard arguments based on Altitude Express, Inc. v. Zarda, No. 17-623, which presents the question whether Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.
